I'd say, at the moment it is necessary for the d100 game designers (and there are some outstanding designers of core rules out there) to chime in with the current trend of rules lite rpgs. As compelling as d100 crunch is for the more seasoned players, people these days generally don't seem to want to read crunchy rule books. It's maybe seen as too time consuming. Therefore: Good luck to Clarence Redd and his Comae Engine. Try to get at least one default setting that rocks the pants off prospective customers (and keep hit locations, perhaps they are in the Comae Engine already:)). Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
